- What you are seeing is the speed between the two modems. USR modems show
- this by default and it is what you want to see.

- Rockwell based modems show the speed between your modem and your computer
- (DTE speed, i.e. CONNECT 57600) as the default and so you need to change
- the s95 register to report the DCE speed instead.
